Weather improving

Well at last the weather is improving and today it feels like spring is in the air, there are new born lambs jumping around in the fields and the sun is shining!

Hopefully the weather will hold out as we are planning a trip out with the camera to go around all the villages on the website to get some great photos, hopefully they should be added to the site next week.

On another side note we have two other web sites in development at the moment and these should be launched within a month or so, both Cotswold Shops that are going online which should be interesting.

Stratford Upon Avon

We have set up plans to expand the Stratford Upon Avon Listing and we are currently working on a seperate mini site for Stratford Upon Avon, Accommodation, Places of interest and Eating out.

This will be a seperate domain name but will draw its listings from Cotswold Advisor or vice versa, the new website will have seperate categories for hotels, bed and breakfast, Country Inns and self catering accommodation in Stratford Upon Avon, a sepereate section on Shakespeare and all the relevant tourist attractions found there.

We have decided if the Stratford Upon Avon directory goes well we will be expanding the idea and have seperate directories for other popular towns and villages all linking back to the main site, www.cotswoldadvisor.com .

This means anyone listed on Cotswold Advisor is going to get a big boost in exposure as the mini sites will get maximum exposure for there niche area.

New Server, New Software….No sleep!

Well we didnt get the easter weekend off, we spent all weekend moving the site over to a brand new server!

Not only that we updated the backend software too, allowing us to add some great new features (cooming soon).

Everything should be back in full swing by the weekend, we still have over 30 properties to list to the accommodation section.
